What this site is

It is the informational site of S Sekulits LLC, an insurance agency licensed by the Office of the Insurance Commissioner of Puerto Rico. Its purpose is to explain types of coverage and to make it easy to get in touch for a consultation.

The content is educational, not an offer

Nothing published here constitutes an offer of insurance, a binding quote, or legal, tax or investment advice. The terms, premiums, exclusions and approval of any coverage are determined by the insurance company in its individual underwriting process.

No prices or premiums are published on this site, and that is not an oversight: the cost depends on age, state of health, the amount requested and the company. Any figure given outside a formal proposal would be misleading.

About the calculator

The calculator applies the DIME method, a recognized industry standard, to the values you enter. The result is an estimate for guidance, meant to frame a conversation — not a recommendation to buy and not an actuarial calculation.

The assumptions used are in plain sight and you can change them. Changing them changes the result. No figure the tool returns commits any insurance company to anything.

Products with values that are not guaranteed

Indexed universal life, indexed annuities and other index-linked products have values that are not guaranteed and that depend on how the market performs, on the policy's charges and on the contract's formulas. Illustrations are projections, not promises of a result.

Relationship with the insurance companies

Stephan Sekulits Rodríguez is an Authorized Representative and holds contracts with several insurance companies. Commission, where there is any, is paid by the insurance company and not by the client. That model is standard across the industry and is disclosed here so that you know.

The situations published here

The profiles described in the situations section are representative of cases handled and are presented without anything that could identify any individual. They are not testimonials and they do not reflect specific amounts, companies or terms. No outcome described is a guarantee of an equivalent outcome.

Third-party links

The site links to outside resources, such as the NAIC license lookup. I don't control their content and I'm not answerable for it.

Limitation of liability

The site is offered as is. I work to keep the information current and correct, but I don't guarantee it is free of errors or available without interruption. Decisions about coverage should be made on the formal proposal and the insurance company's contract, not on this website.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico.
